SODIUM STEARATE FU Y Veg

The only metal stearate soluble in water, Sodium Stearate, salt of saturated fatty acids C16-C18, is used in soaps and shaving products for its thickening, hardening and stabilizing properties but also as a co-emulsifier in creams to give a particular feeling of richness.

However, its main application in the cosmetic is the creation of stick deodorants giving a gelling and stabilizing action.

In the range of Metallic Stearates under the FACI Group brand, distributed by LEHVOSS Italia, Sodium Stearate is available in different versions, and thanks to a different fatty acid composition, they are suitable for the formulation of any type of stick deodorant.

The SODIUM STEARATE FU Y Veg has a specific composition enriched with saturated hydrocarbon chains C20-C22, which make it suitable for the production of transparent non-alcoholic sticks: used at 6% it is completely soluble in water or in propylene glycol.

SODIUM STEARATE FU Y Veg performs a gelling action but also participates in improving the smoothness and adhesiveness of the deodorant. Increasing the melting point, it becomes more stable to the temperature, and in application allows to reduce the quantity used thus increasing the life of the product.

SODIUM STEARATE FU Y Veg is presented as a white powder whose particles have dimensions to guarantee maximum dispersibility with the other components of the formula, optimizing their functionality.
