Magnesium Stearate - INCI Magnesium Stearate
Magnesium stearate, used in make-up products such as blusher, foundation and eye shadow, gives the formulation a silky touch and improves its smoothness, adherence, hold and texture.
Its ability to absorb oil also gives it a mattifying effect. In emulsions it has a thickening activity to which it gives an opaque white appearance.
Calcium Stearate - INCI Calcium Stearate
Calcium stearate finds its cosmetic application as a stabilizer of emulsions, and as a lubricating agent. Depending on the applications, it can be used as an alternative to magnesium stearate. In the make-up field it is used in lipsticks, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadows, foundations, blushers and pressed products.
Zinc Stearate - INCI Zinc Stearate
It is used as a stabilizer in emulsions to which it gives greater durability and shelf life, in the formulation of cosmetic powders, improves spreadability during application and adhesiveness to the skin.
It facilitates the compaction of powders and increases its water repellency. Thanks to its antiseptic and astringent properties, it also finds an interesting application in the formulation of protective powders or ointments, cleaning products for children, deodorant powders and cream deodorants.
Aluminum Stearate - INCI Aluminum Stearate
Aluminum stearate is used as an anti-caking agent in powdered products and as a gelling agent for oils. It is a rheological modifier and improves and stabilizes emulsions, extending their duration over time. Its field of application varies from bbcream, to solar products including sticks.
